WILLIAM READER’S VISION
The piece is in reflection on William Reader, former parks superintendent and Crescent Heights resident, and his vision and efforts in planting countless trees along the boulevards of the neighbourhood of Crescent Heights.
He would have only seen these trees grow until his death in 1943, but his legacy and vision for a canopy filled community has thrived.
This piece envisions and exaggerates an idea of a community living within (and solely with) the trees.
